Course Description

This course will focus on the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (the 2010 ADA Accessibility Design Guidelines): it will cover an overview of ADA, its impact/compliance on new construction and existing facilities and will deep dive into chapter 3: Building Blocks of the ADA guidelines covering in detail all regulations and requirements.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the ADA guidelines and a foundation for navigating them,
  • Discuss what the ADA is, and all the regulations involved,
  • Understand the ADA and its impact & compliance,
  • Examine and understand all regulations in Chapter 3 of the ADA guidelines.

Completion Certificate

You will be able to immediately purchase and print a certificate of completion after completing all sections of instruction and passing a 10 question multiple-choice quiz. The quiz can be retaken unlimited times until a passing grade of 70% or better is earned. This course satisfies two (2) professional development hours (PDH) of continuing education.
